Dispute resolution
I believe in limiting the financial and emotional cost of family law issues by educating you to make informed decisions for your family and empowering you to take control and reach agreement where possible.
To help keep you out of court, I use a variety of dispute resolution techniques, including collaborative law and:
Negotiation
These are non-formal discussions with your former partner and his or her solicitor, either in person or via correspondence.
Mediation
This is a more formal attempt to discuss and define the issues in dispute come to an agreement. It can be between just you and your former partner with a third party or with your legal representatives. There’s no guarantee you’ll achieve resolution but if you do, this option has many advantages – most of all that you play an active part in reaching the result.
Dispute resolution can be used to resolve property and parenting issues.
